Nuri Mert Can is the Director of Transbosphor Marine, where he leads strategic operations in energy logistics and maritime agency services. A Mechanical Engineering graduate of Istanbul Technical University (ITU), he combines a strong technical foundation with extensive leadership experience in the maritime sector.

Beyond his corporate role, Mr. Can holds several key positions within the industry’s most influential bodies. He is currently the Executive Vice President of the TOBB Istanbul Young Entrepreneurs Council and a Member of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping (DTO). Having previously served on the Board of the ITU Maritime Faculty Foundation (DEFAV), he remains deeply integrated into the regional maritime ecosystem.

A frequent contributor to industry publications, he provides expert analysis on maritime geopolitics, energy security, and the strategic challenges facing global trade routes.
